I spent my childhood and teenage years in the meadows and forests of South Baden.

For decades now, I have been living near Basel, where three countries converge.

Curiosity about what lies beyond borders, both real and intellectual, has remained my driving force.

This curiosity about the unknown has led me to various professional fields, including the IT industry for programming and teaching applications. Later, with the birth of my son and the emerging questions about human development, I delved into social, psychological, and philosophical topics, eventually training for a consulting role in social work.

Seeing the counterpart in context, inspiring and gaining trust, approaching resources, and encouraging people are valuable moments in life for me. In my advisory work as a companion, reviving buried talents has led me to new fields and prompted me to explore expression painting as a means to investigate one's inner self. I have also delved into the field of sound and its effects on the body and soul.

Reading, immersing myself in foreign worlds and thought patterns, understanding and recognizing how closely people are connected in essence, have also inspired me to discover other cultural spaces.

My life includes many journeys to near and distant lands, exploring on foot or by bicycle to experience and understand the nature and life worlds of people firsthand.

I have been painting, with interruptions, for about 30 years.

What fascinates me? Creating from the moment, observing what happens when colors meet, overlap, cover, mix—a process of transformation, the mobility and freedom on the canvas, simpler than in real life...
