Lydia Helbing-Schweng creates abstract visual worlds where colors flow like water and memories. Her works reflect nature, emotion, and light – full of joy, without darkness. Especially her "Spheres" series invites meditative reflection. At MYARTPRINTS.COM, you can acquire her artworks as high-quality art prints, framed canvas paintings, or artistically hand-painted pieces in your desired size.

Between Sky and Water
Her desire to capture in images what nature allows to be seen only briefly led her, after initially practicing realistic painting techniques, to discover the vast cosmos of free painting, and she has since painted abstractly. The paintings in the Spheres series are predominantly in blue tones, reflecting the interplay between sky and water. It is important to her that everything is depicted fluidly and dynamically, as rigidity does not align with nature. Other series are painted in warm colors, mirroring the floral world. She never uses the color black in her paintings.
Her latest works aim to open a window into forgotten childhood memories through color play, making purity and innocence accessible to anyone who understands the longings. The paintings are born from a deep need for hope and confidence. They primarily embody the full existence of life optimism, without destructive elements, yet with a certain wistfulness for all that has been and now only exists within her in colors. The fleeting moments have long vanished, but the sound of the colors remains.
