Silja Götz is a freelance illustrator and combines drawings with digital processing in her works of art. Her choice of motifs is diverse and ranges from everyday objects to fashion and outdoor topics.
Born in Regensburg in 1974, she studied communication design in Nuremberg. After graduating, she first worked for Allegra magazine in Hamburg before establishing herself as a freelancer in Spain. Today she lives and works in Madrid.
Her international clients include The New Yorker, Die Zeit, Harper Collins and Domestika. In addition to her artistic work, she teaches illustration and regularly shows her work at exhibitions.
