Timothy Nigel Dendy Easton was born on August 26, 1943, in Tadworth, England. His father was an avid art collector, which fostered Timothy's early interest in art. Timothy studied at Kingston College of Art from 1960 to 1964 and continued his education with a scholarship at the Heatherley School of Fine Art in London. During this time, he received the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Award, which allowed him to travel to Italy and Northern Europe.

Upon returning to England, Easton began his career as a portrait and church painter. He created several large-scale murals, including works for the Church of the Good Shepherd in Tadworth and the Theological College in Salisbury. In the early 1970s, he shifted his focus to sculpture and dedicated the next 15 years to creating imaginative bronze sculptures. These were featured in numerous exhibitions, including in Los Angeles, Germany, Luxembourg, and regularly in London.

In the mid-1980s, Easton returned to painting, inspired by the renovation of his new home in Suffolk. Here, he developed his reputation as a garden and landscape painter. His works often capture the mature beauty of historic buildings and gardens, with his own estate frequently serving as a motif. His deep knowledge of historical architecture earned him a Winston Churchill Travelling Fellowship, allowing him to travel to six European countries between 1998 and 1999 to study architectural structures there.

Although most of his work was created in England, his painting journeys took him to Europe, Central America, South Africa, and India. These travels enriched his art with vibrant colors and contrasting shadows. Easton's works have been published in various publications, on CD covers, prints, and greeting cards. His paintings, often depicting gardens, landscapes, seascapes, and tranquil street scenes, have been showcased in numerous solo exhibitions.

Timothy Easton's artistic career is marked by versatility and continuous development. From portrait painting to sculptures and landscape paintings, his work reflects a deep connection to nature and architecture. His ability to capture the essence of places and moments makes him an outstanding representative of the contemporary British art scene.
