Since its founding in 1830, the Berlin Gemäldegalerie has been a venue for European art from the 13th to the 18th century. The largest Rembrandt collection, featuring 16 works, is on display here. World-renowned paintings by Albrecht Dürer, Pieter Bruegel, Michelangelo Caravaggio, Raffaelo Santi, Peter Paul Rubens, Jan Vermeer, and Jan van Eyck complement the exhibitions. A 7,000 square meter area is available for exhibitions and art in the new building at Berlin's Kulturforum. The Gemäldegalerie is part of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, thus belonging to the Prussian Cultural Heritage (SMPK). Enhance your living room, office, or personal gallery with high-quality reproductions of artists from the Gemäldegalerie, for example, as elegantly framed art prints, canvas prints, or modern glass pictures.
